Ex-public Servant Accused of Molest After “Testing His Limits” With Female Colleagues

A top public servant retiree, aged 66, was accused of molesting 2 of his female colleagues on six occasions between March and September 2016. After standing for trial on Wednesday (2 September), he claims that the only instances of physical contact he has had with one victim was when he hugged her on two occasions and when she touched his hand to comfort him when he was feeling stressed.

He has been accused of hugging the victim tightly, such that her chest was pressed against him. On 2 other occasions, he was accused of touching her buttocks and pressing his genitals against her to “test his limits”. He will continue to testify on Thursday (3 September) at the state courts.
