Radio show host & Covid-19 vaccine-skeptic Phil Valentine dies from Covid-19

Phil Valentine, a popular radio show host and vaccine-skeptic, passed away from Covid-19 after a period of hospitalization, his employer reports.

His death was announced last Saturday by SuperTalk 99.7 WTN, a Nashville radio station. Mr Valentine was diagnosed with the virus and hospitalized in late July.

Popular for organizing protests against state income tax proposals, Phil had also expressed his doubts about the benefits of getting vaccinated, noting that he was at low-risk of getting and/or dying from the virus. Additionally, he mocked the vaccine by parodying the Beatles song “Vaxman”.

During the period of his hospitalization, his family reported that Mr Valentine had changed his view of the vaccination procedures being carried out globally, and intended to publicly state his new position on the matter when he recovered.

Unfortunately, that boat has sailed.
